³⁵ All those who lived at Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.

³⁶ In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha, which in Greek is Dorcas.^[a] She was always doing good deeds and acts of charity. ³⁷ At that time she became sick and died. After they had washed her, they laid her in an upstairs room.
